PINK MARKET is a queer craft, fashion, art & lit fair.

We are Toronto’s oldest and largest queer craft event, welcoming over 10,000 visitors since our first event in 2015.

We aim to give queer creators from Toronto and across Canada a platform for their work, connecting them to members of the public as well as fostering a community of LGBTQ artists and makers.

Our flagship events are held twice a year: PINK MARKET is held during the early summer to coincide with Toronto's Pride festivities, and PINK XMAS is held ahead of the holiday season.

QUESTIONS

i just heard about the market, but applications are closed! can i still sell?

Spots for PINK MARKET go early and fast! We'd love to make room for everyone but unfortunately that just isn't possible. Follow us on Facebook to find out about future events — we'd love to have you sometime!

WHEN IS YOUR NEXT EVENT? HOW CAN I APPLY?

Our main events are held twice a year (late May and early December). Applications open in mid-March for the May event and early fall for the December event. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to find out about upcoming events and vendor calls.

IS THERE A CHARGE TO ATTEND?

Attendance at most PINK MARKET events is pay-what-you-can. There is a suggested, voluntary donation of $5, but no guests will be turned away due to lack of funds.

IS THe MARKET ACCESSIBLE?

Yes! The 519 is wheelchair accessible. Guests using mobility devices can enter through the ramp at the front of the building. There is an elevator next to the front desk that will take you to the ballroom.

We have secured the services of student ASL interpreters from the George Brown School For Deaf Studies to aid guests who would like access to translation.

CAN I VOLUNTEER AT THE MARKET?

Absolutely! We're looking for queer-positive volunteers looking to engage with the community and meet artists and artisans of all kinds. Email us at pinkmarketTO@gmail.com for more info.

IS THe MARKET "FAMILY FRIENDLY"?

We welcome guests of all ages to PINK MARKET events. However, many of our vendors and artists create sex-positive content or sell adult items, and some frank depictions of human anatomy or explicit language may be used in featured artwork.
